Following on from our AGM the committee has been busy formulating our ideas for the coming year. We are delighted to outline for you some of our plans really focus on upgrades that will benefit all our users.
New Front Doors
Our major objective is to replace the main front doors. The old doors, whilst have served us well, are not effective in keeping heat in and tired. We are looking at some automated door options and hope to have these installed before the winter months.
Air Conditioning System
Our second on our priority list is to install some Air Conditioning. This has been specifically requested by various regular hirers, particularly by the more active groups who have been struggling in the recent heatwaves.
Enhanced Sound System and Induction Loop
Our third major project is to offer a sound system that is easily accessible for all our hirers, whether they are regular users or hosting parties and special events. As part of our commitment to accessibility, we have also decided to add a Loop System, ensuring that everyone in our community can fully participate in events and activities at the hall.
Bright New Reception area
Finally, we will be refurbishing the main reception and downstairs halls. Our vision is to create a bright, vibrant area that will provide a welcoming first impression for all visitors and a pleasant environment for events and gatherings.
