Borough Green Village Hall
Welcome to the Borough Green Village Hall, which was built in 1965 after many years of fundraising by the local community.
We have 3 flexible areas to hire – a large Main Hall, a Small Hall with an adjoining annexe room, and a separate Meeting Room – offering a range of spaces to suit the needs of the whole community, whether for private or business functions.
About
The Village Hall is a community facility built by the local villagers after 3 years of fundraising.
In the early 60’s Borough Green was growing fast and both newcomers and established landowners realised the need for its own Village Hall. After securing the land in the centre of the village the residents set about raising the necessary funds to complete the hall. Led by Lt Col F.E. Griggs, he organised volunteers to provide the necessary labour, whilst local tradesmen provided the expertise, the hall was finished in 1965.
The Hall is run by volunteers and funded solely from the users. As our current Trustees we are keen to continue to ensure that the village hall is at the centre of local social events, clubs and groups for the benefit of all.
We have three different spaces for hire (The Main Hall, The Small Hall and The Meeting Room), so can cater for all forms of activities from private to commercial uses. The whole of the village hall building can be hired in its entirety, or the individual rooms can be hired separately.

The Main Hall measures 17 metres long by 12 metres wide, with a maximum height of 4 metres. It can comfortably seat up to 200 people, or accommodate up to 150 guests for dances and events.
